Colin Martin, M.A.
Well hello! If you're reading this, we think it's safe to say that you're curious about Colin's professional experience. As the rest of his bio on our "About" page alludes to, Colin is a 'jack of all trades.' Working his way through the neophyte years of his professional life as a teacher and soccer coach, he began his creative pursuits by designing lesson plans and training sessions. Always the motivated student though, he transitioned into the mental and behavioral health field as a master's candidate, creating similar plans and sessions within his internship roles with refugee residents of Denver. Once the degree was official, it was time to create reporting templates and qualitative feedback programs as a disaster behavioral health program coordinator. Recently, however, Colin has decided to kick it up a notch, helping to create digital products such as websites, podcasts, and branding logos. We won't keep your curiosity penned up any longer, scroll down for examples of his most recent work.
Salusworld.org website
Following his time at the CO Dept. of Public Health and Environment's Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response, Colin was asked to help give SalusWorld a bit of a re-boot. First item on the list was a new website.
"30 seconds in" branding
After proving himself a quick learner and competent partner in the development of digital assets, Colin was tasked with creating a branding concept for the (then) upcoming podcast, "30 Seconds In."
"30 seconds in" episodes
In addition to helping develop the idea for "30 Seconds In", creating its logo, and organizing its launch party, Colin narrated, edited, and produced the first season. Take a listen to Episode 6: Death, Dating, and Elephants on the left.
Novaturient(s) Website
How creative is Colin? Let's just say a year abroad living out of a campervan couldn't stop him from writing, playing with photos, and developing a website chronicling that journey. Hey, wait! That's this website! Colin's favorite pages are displayed here. Click images to navigate through ;-)
